About Adam
Hi, I'm Adam.
I believe in people—teachers, leaders, pupils, and parents. I believe that with the right support and some flexibility, schools can help SEND pupils, both in the UK and further afield, not only to learn but to thrive. I've dedicated my career so far to this belief, and that is the goal of AD Specialist Solutions.
I developed AD Specialist Solutions with the aim of sharing what I've learned as widely as possible, and with the goal of improving the opportunities of young people with SEND while supporting schools to give the best possible offer to the young people they support.

Experience & Track Record: I'm a specialist education consultant and former school leader with over 15 years’ experience across special and mainstream education. In 2021, I project-managed and co-led the opening of Chatten Free School—a highly specialist provision that achieved an Ofsted 'Outstanding' rating within three years.

Lived Experience & Expertise: As an autistic leader with ADHD, I aim to combine advanced academic expertise (MEd in Autism Education) with deep lived experience and trauma-informed practice. I support schools and organisations through coaching, consultancy, and training rooted in neurodiversity-affirming values as well as lived experience training.

I provide expert support adapting learning and behaviour systems around individual pupils and/or entire provisions and I can also provide support and guidance around topics such as recruitment, staff training, curriculum, or assessment. Sometimes all it takes is one or two visits and you have everything you need.

I have extensive experience both developing and delivering training to small and large groups on topics ranging from lived experience of neurodiversity, behaviour, autism, and ADHD right up to developing specialist modules around directed topics. Sometimes the most powerful training can come from an external person with a unique set of experiences and skills. I can deliver online, in person, or even build an e-course to your requirements.
